We spent the month at home - all of them. We started the month in the desert, but got a nice surprise short term renter, who needed a place between selling one home and buying the next. We made a couple trips to Tahoe - once to collect some documents we needed, and a second time to organize replacing the water heater. The rest of the time we were in SF, watching and waiting to see how much the Caldor Fire would threaten Tahoe. Turns out our town dodged a direct punch, thru amazing efforts from the firefighters and our area's mitigation efforts over the past dozen years.
