To vacate my Bangkok apartment and move to Phuket I rented a car and had a Thai friend drive down with me. Driving in Thailand is an adventure, especially in Bangkok. The taxi ride from my apartment to the rent-car place was just 15 minutes, but I took over an hour getting back. So many complicated turns in Bangkok! We spread the 12 hour drive down to Phuket over 2 days and only made a few wrong turns along the way. There are a few photos of the new place in this gallery too.
